SHIPPING POLICY

Fulfillment: the process of receiving an order, making the order, allowing the item to cure (if applicable), packaging the order and shipping the order. 

 

Shipping: the process of mailing fulfilled orders to the customer.

 

All items are handmade therefore fulfillment times may vary. In stock items are available immediately and will be fulfilled and shipped within 2-3 business days after payment has processed, Monday - Friday, excluding major holidays. Backordered items will be fulfilled on the date listed on the product page. Custom orders will be fulfilled within the quoted timeframe. Orders that contain products which are regulated for transport require extra handling and may add an additional business day.

 

OCONUS ORDERS

Orders shipped to P.O. Boxes are released within 3-5 business days.  APO/FPO/DPO and U.S. Territories are delivered within 14-21 business days of the order's ship date. Some locations in Alaska and Hawaii may take up to 14 business days. Overnight and 2nd Day Priority shipping methods are not available for U.S. Territories and certain locations in Alaska and Hawaii. Orders shipped to P.O. Boxes and APO / FPO addresses must be sent via the United States Postal Service.

LOCAL PICKUP OR DELIVERY

This option is available to residents within a 10 mile radius. The sender’s name and email address are included for the recipient.

We do our best to estimate the most accurate delivery time for your convenience. For the most up-to-date delivery information once your order has been shipped, please refer to the tracking information in your email confirmation. Simply use the tracking number provided to track your package online. Please note: estimated delivery dates apply to in-stock items only and may not be available depending on shipment details. Delivery of out-of-stock items is subject to availability. The dates provided are estimates and subject to change and do not apply to PO Boxes, APO/FPO/DPO or U.S. Territories.

PLEASE NOTE

All purchases are subject to bank authorization prior to processing. Only authorized purchases will be fulfilled and shipped. We are currently unable to accept orders billed to or shipped to destinations outside of the United States. If you have any questions concerning the shipment of your order, please contact us via email.

Return & Exchange Policy

Due to COVID-19 restrictions, no returns will be accepted. If you are unhappy with your order for any reason, contact us at support@thebuttershop.com. Store credit may be considered on a case-by-case basis. 

**You must obtain pre-authorization before returning any item.  Send an email to support@thebuttershop.com, include your name, order number, item(s) to be returned and the reason for return.  If approved, you will receive return instructions via email.  Note: return shipping is not covered by The Butter Shop.


Refunds and exchanges are not available.


Sale/discounted items are all Final Sale and may not be returned under any circumstances – these are yours to keep or gift to a friend!
